There are lots of great activities for kids visiting the Lincoln Heritage National Scenic Byway.  We are working to create a downloadable game and ideas for teachers and parents visiting the sites along the byway – keep checking back for updates.   Look below for great ideas and activities already offered at some of our historic stops:

Abraham Lincoln Birthplace Junior Ranger Program

Visit the website of the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park to download the Junior Ranger Program.  The Junior Ranger Program  Booklet has activities, games and information relating to the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace.  Once you have completed the required activities in your Booklet bring it to the Park and receive your Junior Ranger Badge and Certificate. If you are not able to visit the park, you can print your own copy of this certificate by visiting the website link above.

National Park Service WebRanger Program

Web Rangers is the online extension of the Junior Ranger program, and available for many National Parks including the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace.  WebRangers offers a chance to play games, solve mysteries, track your progress and receive awards.
